Rediscover the Falls is the community-based, friend-building and fundraising arm of the Willamette Falls Legacy Project. Learn more about Rediscover the Falls at www.friendsofwflp.org.
Rediscover the Falls, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was established to build friends and raise resources for The Willamette Falls Riverwalk Project, in partnership with the Willamette Falls Legacy Project partners. Groundbreaking and construction of the riverwalk is scheduled to begin in 2018. Phase 1 Construction is scheduled for completion in 2022.
For over a century, the awe-inspiring beauty of Willamette Falls has been mostly inaccessible and hidden from the public. That is about to change. When the Blue Heron Paper Company in Oregon City filed for bankruptcy in 2011, new opportunities for the historic site emerged and Rediscover the Falls was created to help share Willamette Falls with the public, in partnership with the Willamette Falls Legacy Project.
